A superb development in undoubtedly one of Sheffield's premier locations to the south west of the city. Located in the village of Dore with open countryside and the Peak District National Park only minutes away. Within the Peak District are the quaint villages of Bakewell, Baslow and Bamford where the famous Ladybower reservoir and dam are situated. The Peak District also offers many walks, with pubs and restaurants and also sports such as rock climbing and hang-gliding. It is also a short drive from the famous Chatsworth House with beautiful gardens and which still attract many visitors every year. Dore has a long and intriguing history and was featured in the Anglo Saxon Chronicle as for back as 829. Today the village remains unspoilt by time, safeguarded from expansion by its boundaries, which include the Green Belt of ancient Ecclesall Woods. Kings Court is a short drive from the fashionable Ecclesall Road, which has a host of designer shops, pubs and restaurants and which also boasts a casino. Dore also boasts excellent primary and comprehensive schools as well as local nursery schools and the site is literally a stones throw away from King Ecgbert School. Dore also has it's own railway station which offers excellent commuting to places such as Sheffield centre, Doncaster and Manchester. Add up the delights of Dore and it's hard to believe you are just fifteen minutes drive from the city centre of Sheffield and around thirty minutes to get to the Meadowhall shopping centre, there is no wonder this historic village is one of Sheffield's most desirable locations.
