Review on Anchor Point in Sheffield

Anchor Point is a new development situated across 3.25 acres within Bramall Quarter of Sheffield, directly opposite Sheffield United ground.

This new development is built around a seven-storey tower and boasts contemporary, bold design. The development houses 176 one and two bedroom apartments and 12 four-bedroom townhouses. The apartments fit the specifications for "contemporary Urban living" with fitted kitches with appliances in stainless steel, chrome low voltage down lighters to kitchen, bathroom and hall, state of the art electric heating. and blond oak internal doors with complementary chrome fittings. The apartments also are fitted with video/audio entry phone system to main entrances and access to the carparking areas is via electrically operated gates. Already 130 of the 176 units have been sold.

Anchor point as a mixed use scheme will also include 2,863sq.ft office space and 2,617ft. retail unit. It is the home for the new headquarters for Arnold Laver, a UK timber specailised.

Been neighbours to the Sheffield United Ground I think its safe to say that if you dislike football then this isn't the address for you. Large noisy football crowds on match days along with the added traffic problems could make this address rather troublesome at times. However, for some, this would be the ideal address and location.

Bramall lane is becoming targeted for city living and student living. The advantages of this location is its just a few minutes walk from city centre, but currently the area is still quite run down.

The final phrases of this development opens on Thursday the 12th October.
